What I want foreigners who come to Japan to study or train should do a homestay. I have two reasons to support my view.
The first reason is that you can experience Japanese eating habits along with its cuisine and events at the comfort of home. The experience helps you understand the Japanese culture well and it is useful if you business with Japan. Some may say that you can learn about them through books or other media such as TV, but having a practical experience is different.
The second reason is that you will learn about the family relationship, especially between parents and children, as well as siblings. Each country has unique relationships at home. The experience will also help your communication in the future. Some might say that you can learn these from Japanese movies or dramas, but the real experience is more immersive.
For the reasons above, experiencing a homestay is definitely my recommendation to the foreign students or trainees. (163 words)

以上の理由から、留学生や研修生にはホームステイを体験することをお勧めします。
