I think it is good for first-year college students to be asked to live together in the dormitory. There are two reasons for this.
The first reason is that it is easy to interact with various people. There are a lot of students from other areas, so information from various regions can be gathered together. Even if you do not enter the dormitory, you can get information through the internet. However, with face-to-face interaction, you can broaden your horizons because information you didn't think you needed comes in through communication.
The second reason is that it is hard to be isolated from other people. If you live in an apartment alone, you may not interact with other people. It is also possible to interact on the Internet, but if you suddenly get sick, you will need to ask for help from someone.
For these two reasons, I think it is good for first-year college students to be asked to live together in the dormitory. (168 words)
